Charter boat fishing in Gloucester Ma has been great for the Kayman Charters’ Lisa Jake!

Anglers caught over 145 keeper fish on the marathon trip during the week! Most of the catch was the delicious Haddock. The catch is unlimited so the anglers worked hard at filling fish totes as well as the crew filleting the catch.

This Summer has been some of the best fishing for charters we have seen in a while. Crew have using lures in the early am to lure fish to their line with the right motion even Large Haddock cant resist the jig flashing around on the bottom.

Large Slammer Pollock lurking the area are also attracted to the jigs making a big surprise when they hit! The rod goes to the gunwale and the drag sings!

A bonus for all the groups last week was to fight big game in a stand -up harness. Large Sharks to 300 pounds have been cruising the fishing grounds, a bait is set out away from the boat and at least once every day the drag screams out with the large predator on the line.

Shared trips are open on the 29th of August and an overnight trip to look for Halibut has 2 more spots to fill on Sunday August 18 Call or E=mail for more info.
